Robert Michael (Mike) Middleton

Mr. Robert Michael “Mike” Middleton, 67 of Hohenwald, TN passed away at his residence October 27,2019.  He was born December 30,1951 in Perry County to the late Robert and Mavis Hensley Middleton. Mr. Middleton worked as a riverboat captain for 40 years before taking a five year break to the run The Highlander in Hohenwald. After his break he returned to the riverboat. 

On October 17,2007 he married his wife, Mrs. Patricia Jones Middleton at the Dwelling Place in Hohenwald TN. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and watching the UT Vols play.  Mr. Middleton was known to enjoy sitting down for a good conversation with family and friends. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren whenever he could.

He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 9 Great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents Mr. Middleton was preceded in death by a son Dennis Hensley and brother Chris Huggins.

A visitation with family will be held tomorrow October 29,2019 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of the Funeral home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm with brother David Grimes officiating.
