Billy Van Beasley, a man known for his friendly demeanor and kind heart, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024, at the age of 92, in Lobelville, Tennessee. Born on August 8, 1932, in Ringgold, Georgia, Billy's life was a testament to the joy of simple pleasures.
Billy's early years in Ringgold were filled with the warmth of a close-knit community and the guiding hand of his late mother, Katherine May Beasley. His journey led him to Lobelville, where he became a beloved figure, known for his ever-present smile and generous spirit.
A devoted father, Billy's legacy is carried on by his sons, Darell and his wife Debbie, Jeffrey and his wife Lori, and William. His sister Marie will fondly remember her brother's unwavering support and gentle nature. His four grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his later years, will continue to be inspired by his life. Mr. Beasley was preceded in death by his son George Beasley.
An avid fisherman, Billy found solace and happiness by the water, where he could often be found sharing stories and laughter with friends. Those who knew him will remember Billy as the embodiment of friendliness and kindness, who welcomed everyone with open arms.
