Bluford Warren Jr. Obituary

Bluford Warren Jr., age 67, of Hohenwald, Tennessee, passed away on July 1, 2026, in the same town where he was born on January 6, 1959.

He was the son of the late Bluford and Annie Staggs Warren and lived his life in a way that reflected the values of love, kindness, and steady devotion to others. Bluford was known by many as a loving, friendly, and thoughtful man who carried himself with warmth and sincerity. He had a way of making people feel welcome, and he never met a stranger. Whether he was sharing a smile, offering encouragement, or simply taking time to talk, he left others feeling better than before.

Bluford worked as a jack of all trades at Walmart, where he was appreciated for his dependable nature and willingness to help wherever he was needed. His strong work ethic and easygoing spirit made him a valued part of every place he served. He approached life with a practical hand and a generous heart, always ready to lend his skills and his time to those around him.

He found joy in the simple and meaningful parts of life. Bluford enjoyed tennis and basketball, and he loved spending time with his grandbabies, who brought him great happiness. He was always talking, always smiling, and always uplifting those around him. Those who knew him will remember how he seemed to find the good in everyone and how he shared that goodness freely. His presence brought comfort and laughter, and his cheerful nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bluford was affectionately known as Pop Pop, a name spoken with love by his family and treasured by him. He took great pride in his family and cherished the time he spent with them. His life was centered around the people he loved, and his greatest joy came from being surrounded by those closest to his heart.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Morris Warren; his children, Valerie Warren and Bub Warren and his wife Charlotte; his sisters, Debbie Ramsey and Amanda Wright; and his grandchildren, Paisley Warren, Zannah Warren, and Trenton Warren; and his daughter of the heart Shelly (Baby Bear) Prieur.Bluford also leaves behind his Mother-in-law Ann Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bluford and Annie Staggs Warren, father in law Earl Morris, and his brother, Bobby Warren.
