Cagney Taylor Brown

Ms. Cagney Taylor Brown 28, unexpectantly passed away at her Hohenwald home on November 1,2020.  She was born October 15,1992 in Columbia, TN to Rick and Tammy (Carroll) Brown.  Ms. Brown was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents William F. and Blanche Carroll.

Since Cagney was an October baby it was only fitting that she had a love of scary movies. It started at a young age when her older sister was asked to babysit, from that moment on her adoration for all things scary began.  Cagney was described as a compassionate, loving soul who loved her family and friends with all her being.

Cagney leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Ryker Andrew Jones; Fiancé Mitchell Jones; parents Rick and Tammy (Carroll) Brown; sisters Candace (Cainon) Workman, and Crystal (Wally) Thomas; paternal grandparents Larry “Monk” and Johnnie Brown; nieces and nephews Braxtin and Lucky Thomas, and Caimora, Caimyaa, and Caimoni Workman.

Visitation with family and friends will be Thursday November 5th from 5:00-9:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Friday November 6th at 2:00 pm with brother Nathan Duncan officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Memorial Gardens off Summertown Highway.

While visiting or attending services for Ms. Cagney Brown, please consider the following guidelines: Mask are optional but please remember to:

* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
