Candi Lee (Carpenter) Cissell

On the 29th of December 2019, Mrs. Candi Lee Cissell returned home to our Lord and Savior. Born in Hayward, CA on February 3, 1961 to Mrs. Joyce Carpenter and the late Arthur Carpenter, Candi dedicated her life to family, faith and friendship. In April of 1983 she married her soulmate, Mr. Terry Lee Cissell and the two were married for 37 years.   She and Terry settled in Summertown where they continued their business, Advanced Senior Concepts. Although her professional life was spent caring for her clients across several states, her personal life was spent absorbing all the things God had to offer. Whether it was time spent viewing a morning sunrise or an uneventful evening sunset, she often considered nature and the outdoors to be her personal paradise. Her love for cats shined through in the love shown to her two favorites Fidget and Meeko.

As a devoted Christian woman, Candi fiercely served our Lord every day.  She would frequently discuss how she couldn’t wait to be with the Lord in Paradise and would often tell everyone. Above all she was unbelievably selfless and passionate of her service to not only her family, but to others.  She was a devoted mother, faithful wife, and fearless friend. Her beautiful smile would light up any room.  Her true beauty shined through when reciting two of her favorite quotes “Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ” and “Remember God is Good all the Time!”  She will be missed by all that have known her more than she will ever know. 

Along with her husband and mother, Mrs. Cissell is survived by her children: a daughter - Tiffany Nichole Harris (Rod); her two sons - Jacob Marshall Cissell and Christian Shepard Cissell; grandchildren - Rylee and Samuel Harris; and sisters - Michelle Carpenter and Debi Schroeder.

Her service is now with the Lord.
