Charles "Sonny" Johnson Butler

Charles Johnson "Sonny" Butler, a cherished family man, passed away on July 17, 2024, in Columbia, Tennessee. Born on August 24, 1953, in Mayersville, Mississippi, Sonny was a man who lived his life with a heart full of love.

Sonny was the son of the late Albert and Catherine Butler, and he grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. His journey in life was shared with his siblings, and he is predeceased by his brother EC Fisher and sister Rosemary Wilson. He leaves behind his sisters, JoeAnn Reed and Geraldine Reed, who will miss him dearly.

A proud father, Sonny's memory will be cherished forever by his children, Derrick "Teddy" Foster (Shunta), Antwanita “Hanna” Foster, and Artia “Nicole” Foster (Shawn). His life was further enriched by the blessing of 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends, who brought him immeasurable joy and happiness.

A Memorial/Repast will be held at The American Legion on Saturday August 10, 2024 at 2:00pm located at 150 Legion Rd. West Memphis, Arkansas 72301
