On the morning of April 22, 2022, Cole Adam Carter unexpectedly left this earthly world at the age of 21 at his Hohenwald home. He was born in Gastonia, NC on September 25, 2000, to Mr. Kenneth Eugene Carter and Ms. Brandie Hutton. Cole was preceded in death by his grandparents Leon and Erma Carter, and Charles Cook.
Along with his parents he leaves behind to carry on his memory his sisters Felicia (Joel) Pollock and Taylor Carter and a host of nieces and nephews, and grandparents James Hutton, Annette Goss, and Brenda Cook.
Cole was one of a kind and loved everyone unconditionally. He was always there for anyone who needed a shoulder to lean on or a friend to listen. He had a smile and laugh that would brighten any room and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The love he had for his family was undeniable. It brought him such happiness to spend time with all his nieces and nephews thus spending time with family was always his favorite pastime. When he wasn’t’ surrounding himself with family and friends he would quietly enjoy playing video games or setting out on a traveling adventure.
Visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday April 26, 2022, from 5:00-9:00 in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral services will be Wednesday April 27, 2022, beginning at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Downey Cemetery in Hohenwald. Pastor Gary R. Beadles will be officiating.
