Colleen Maguerite (Holmes) Dobbs

Ms. Colleen Marguerite Holmes Dobbs was born in Nishnabotny TWP, Iowa on July 27, 1934, to the late Francis Lee and Ruth Thelma Collins Holmes and passed away on February 24, 2023. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifton Ray Dobbs; daughters Deborah Dawn Dobbs and Kellie Elizabeth Dobbs; and her son Stephen Ray Dobbs.

Ms. Dobbs attended Christ Church of Perry County and was a housekeeper by trade. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, word puzzles, listening to Christian music, and she loved the Lord.

Ms. Dobbs is survived by a son James Douglas Dobbs (Deborah), a daughter Katie Dobbs, grandchildren Jairus Dobbs, Zachary Burlison, Maleah Lumpkins, Aleah Lumpkins, Adrien Lumpkins, and Linus Marshall. 

Ms. Dobbs will be cremated per her wishes, and family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
