Connie Sue (Hinson) Marlin

In the afternoon hours of December 13, 2021, Ms. Connie Sue Hinson Marlin peacefully passed away at her Hohenwald home surrounded by family at the age of 65. Connie was born on February 6, 1956, to the late E.L. and Beulah Hinson.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Monty Marlin, her son Kevin Marlin, and infant siblings Lannie and Barbara Hinson.

Her infectious smile was the first thing you noticed when you met her and the reason, she was loved by so many in our community.  She was a team member of Walmart in Hohenwald for 19 years and always willing to step in and help anyone.

When not working she enjoyed becoming one with nature. Connie would often take leisurely rides to catch the next beautiful sunset or soak in her surroundings at local waterfalls. She was never far from her camera and always seemed to capture the most beautiful pictures. Most pictures showed the true beauty of her hummingbirds and red cardinals that had made a home with her.

Connie is survived by her son Daniel Marlin, siblings Lisa Hankins, Roxanne Ayers, Larry Hinson, and Lynn Hinson.

Visitation with family and friends will begin at 12:00 pm Thursday December 16, 2021, until time of service at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial will immediately follow at Hinson Cemetery in Perry County. Her brother Larry Hinson will be officiating.
