Cynthia Nanette (Carter) Boyce

On the evening of March 20,2021 Mrs. Cynthia Nanette Carter Boyce peacefully passed away at Vanderbilt Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Red Bay, Alabama on May 11,1976 to Ricky and Kathy Carter of Hohenwald.  Mrs. Boyce was preceded in death by her grandparents Buel and Wilma Wigginton and Edward and Bessie Carter.  Cyndi worked as a front office assistant for Dr. William Russell.

One was often greeted by Cyndi’s bright and cheerful personality and infectious smile which was sure to brighten anyone’s day. Cydni was always laughing, smiling, and joking around with those around her. She enjoyed running cows on the farm and serenading her family with her favorite songs. In her free time Cyndi often dabbled in DIY projects and painting.

Along with her parents she is survived by her husband of two years Everette Boyce; children CalliAnna (Charlie) Workman, Carter McDonald, Hollie Boyce and Heidi Boyce; brothers Rod (Misty) Carter, and Ed (Angel) Carter; nieces MaKayla Carter, Brinley Carter; a  nephew Brodie Carter; and a special cousin Trace Lawrence.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday March 23,2021 in the funeral home chapel from 4:00-9:00 pm. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 on Wednesday March 24,2021 with brother Nathan Duncan officiating and Danny Carter reading the eulogy. Burial will follow the service at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Shelbyville, TN with brother Brent Hailey officiating the graveside.
