Danny Lee Maness

Mr. Danny Lee Maness passed from his earthly home on May 15, 2022, at the age of 70. Danny was born in Decatur County, TN on August 10, 1951, to the late Jim H and Velma Faye Maness.

Mr. Maness graduated Riverside High School in 1969. He pursued a career with Tennessee Department of Correction at the Turney Center Industrial Prison in Only, TN. He retired in 2004 as a Sergeant with 25 years of service.

Mr. Maness leaves behind to carry on his memory his son Brandon Maness and wife Clarissa; his sister Judy Daugherty and her husband Carmac; his nephew Daniel Daugherty and wife Kara; two grandchildren Cole and Addison Maness; and his very special pet and companion Gizmo.

Danny was a hard worker and at times held multiple jobs to ensure his family’s needs were met. In his spare time, he enjoyed being on the river, riding his boat, and fishing with his son and grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to car shows and working on old cars and trucks.  

Mr. Maness will be buried at Corinth Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at Corinth Baptist Church on Sunday May 22nd at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to help with expenses. Adair Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
