David Franklin Baggett

In the early morning hours of June 6,2021 Mr. David Franklin Baggett went to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his family in his Summertown home. He was born to the late Joe W. and Euralee Ammons Baggett in Old Hickory, TN on September 30, 1951. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his two sisters Patsy Ruth and Judith Anne. Mr. Baggett worked at Dura Automotive Systems for 39 years before retiring.

David had a close personal relationship with GOD, and many would say he was working on his bachelor’s degree in preaching. He was a man of faith that was not bound by the traditions of man. God was good all the time! He was happiest outdoors riding his tractor or tending to one of his many gardens.

Mr. Baggett leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 44 years Mrs. Martha Price Baggett; his children David F. (Kumma) Baggett Jr., Timothy J. (Laura) Baggett Sr., Rebecca S. (Lawrence) Kinzie, and Judith D. Baggett; grandchildren Patricia Anne, Austin, Timmy, Ashli, Seth, Cain, Troy, and Jessie; and one brother Joe Baggett.

Visitation with family and friends will be from 5:00-8:00pm Monday June 7,2021 and again Tuesday June 8,2021 from 9:00-1:00 pm in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services.   A graveside service will be held Tuesday June 8,2021 at 2:00 pm at Baugus Cemetery in Summertown with brother Kyle Conner officiating.
