Mrs. Diann Lawson O’Guin unexpectedly passed away on November 09, 2022, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
On June 12, 1954, she was welcomed into this world by her parents Leon and Edith Holloway Lawson at the Boyce Clinic in Hohenwald. She and her husband Mr. Paul were members of Shipps Bend church of Christ in Centerville, TN.
Diann is survived by her loving husband Paul Anthony O’Guin; her children Jason (Michelle) O’Guin and Alan (Roxanne) O’Guin; grandchildren Kyla O’Guin and Carter O’Guin; and her sister Vickie (Kenneth) Bates.
Mrs. Diann spent her life caring for not only her family and loved ones, but for the citizens of Lewis County. She was employed at the Hohenwald health department for 20 years but was in the nursing field for 40 years before retiring. When she was not working, she enjoyed being outdoors working in her flower garden. During cooler days she could be found working on her scrapbooks or finishing a needlepoint project.
Visitation with family and friends will be Friday November 11, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 pm in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday November 12, 2022, with burial to follow at O’Guin Cemetery. Brothers Kenley Bates, Paul O’Guin, and Steve Holloway will be officiating.
