Dolores (Jody) JoAnn (Chandler) Bunch

Mrs. Dolores JoAnn (Jody) Bunch, 83 of Hohenwald peacefully went to be with our Lord Monday,  April 27, 2020 while surrounded by family. She was born November 8, 1936 in Hickman County to the late James Walter and Wilma (Austin) Chandler. She married the late Ishmael Lee Bunch on June 30, 1956 and together had two daughters.  She was a homemaker for many years while also helping with her late husband's family business. Mrs. Bunch was a member of Lomax Church of Chirst in Hohenwald, TN.  Along with her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by her brother Bobby D. Chandler.

Mrs. Bunch enjoyed meeting new people and sitting down to good conversation.  Much like her late husband, Ishmael, she never met a stranger. She was always very welcoming and had a spirit and sense of humor that would light up a room. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and loved to turn on music and dance with her loved ones.  There was nothing more important than the time  spent with family.

Mrs. Bunch is survived by her daughters LeeAnn (Tom) Alford and Michelle (Rick) Whitwell; grandchildren Lindsey (Chris) Himes, Kristen (Trai) Meadows, and Lacey (Darrin) Cameron; great grandchildren Dylan, Andalyn and Casen Himes, Harlynn Cameron, and Chandler and Ford Meadows; brothers James Walter “Buddy” Chandler III, and Billy Chandler; and sisters Sheila Burton and Mitzi Chandler.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday April 28, 2020 at 2:00pm at Downey Cemetery with Brother Donnie DeBord officiating.
