On March 6, 2022, Ms. Eva Jo Parrish Pollard left this earthly world at her Hohenwald home at the age of 78. She was born to the late Frank and Nellie Howard Parrish on November 3, 1943, in Zebulon, GA. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Milton Pollard, brother Johnny Parrish, and her sister Sallie Cochran.
Ms. Eva is survived by her sons Shane (Kathy) Pollard and Derrick “Domino” Pollard; grandchildren Gage, Jordan, and Nick Pollard; great-grandchildren Isabella, Logan, and Natalie Pollard; and her sisters Cynthia Albritton, Judy Pyron, and Sue Forrester.
She enjoyed anytime spent with family, from spending time with her sisters to loving on her sweet grandchildren. Many times, the family would gather for a meal prepared by her to showcase her love for cooking. Many may not have guessed that she was a big Hank Williams III fan when they first met her. Eva was a very quiet person that showed love to all. She would want you all to know “the road will go on forever” a line from her favorite song.
A service will be held in Thomaston, GA on March 12, 2022, following her cremation.
