Harold Donald Compton

Mr. Harold Donald Compton 70, of Hohenwald left this earthly world on March 21,2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. Mr. Compton was born in Richmond, VA to the late William Donald and Ocie Jackson Compton on January 1,1951.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers William Compton, Earl Compton, and Alfred Eugene Compton, and his father-in-law Guy Hardy.

Before moving to Hohenwald Harold enjoyed working on his farm in Michigan and attending his church United Church of God. He made his career working at the GM plant where he would later retire from.

Mr. Compton is survived by his wife of 51 years Mrs. Pamela Hardy Compton; his sons Harold (Tonya) Compton Jr., Christopher (Lavon) Compton, and Kevin (Cherrie) Compton; grandchildren Chelsi, Bret, Brooklyn, Jacquelyn, Joella, Jordan, Jasmine, and Alexandria; great grandchildren Charles, Jonathan, Karlee, Weston, Aubree, and Hunter. He is also survived by his brother Darrell Compton; sisters Wanda Compton, and Anna Littlepage; and mother-in-law Audrey Hardy.

A celebration of life will take place Saturday April 8,2021 at Lewis County Park beginning at 11:00 am.
