Mr. Harold Fred Livingston 83 peacefully went to be his Lord and Savior on October 27,2020 in his Hohenwald home surrounded by family. He was born January 20,1937 in Michigan to the late Harold Raymond and Doris (Amidon) Livingston. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Jean Hopkins and an infant sister Laura Livingston.
After 33 years Mr. Livingston retired from General Telephone to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and spend as much time as he could with his family. One of his favorite things to do was maintaining the riding trails on his property for all his grandchildren to enjoy. As his family had witnessed, Mr. Livingston was the godliest man in their eyes. He was a Sunday school teacher at New Hope Baptist and the last surviving Deacon of the church. When someone needed prayer, they always knew they could turn to him. He began each morning with three hours of prayer before beginning his day.
Mr. Livingston leaves behind to cherish his memory his children Michael Lee Livingston of Lexington, KY; Dawn Elizabeth Ormes (Kelly) of Largo, FL; and Sam Livingston (Kim) of Hohenwald; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Visitation with family and friends will be held Friday December 4,2020 from 6-8 pm at Highland Baptist Church in Hohenwald and again on Saturday December 5,2020 from 12:00-2:00. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation on Saturday at 2:00 pm with Brother Sam Livingston officiating.
