Mr. James Michael Landrum, age 73, of Hohenwald passed away at his home on January 23, 2020 surrounded by family. Mr. Landrum was a retiree of the U.S. Department of the Interior, Natchez Trace Highway at Lewis County, TN. He was a member of the Hohenwald Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder. He was a member of the VFW and the United States Marine Corp, a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Landrum was born in Miami, Florida on September 24,1946, to James Malcolm and Ludell Landrum. He enjoyed being with his family and working on his farm.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years and ten months, Alice Morgan Landrum; daughters Terri Ann and the late Steven Potts and Dolly Elizabeth Warren of Hohenwald; brother Charles Malcolm (Hope) Landrum of Vero Beach, FL and a sister Cheryl Ann (Ronnie) Gribble of Charlotte, NC; three sisters-in-law, Linda Kay (Tim) McAllister of La Fayette, GA, Patsy Gail (Dennis) Herndon and Elizabeth L. (Richard) Hamilton of Vero Beach, FL. Mr. Landrum also leaves behind six grandchildren, one great grandson, twelve nieces and nephews, and his faithful dog Toby. Mr. Landrum was preceded in death by his parents and his brother in law Wendell A. Collins of Miami, FL.
Visitation with family and friends will be held Monday January 27,2020 from 11:00-1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm with Brother Jim Webb Officiating. Mr. Landrum’s ashes will be placed on the family farm.
