James David Pitts

Mr. James David Pitts unexpectedly passed from this earthly world on December 27, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. David was born in Decaturville, TN on October 24, 1966, to the late James and Norma Jean Pitts. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Mrs. Patricia Eskew. His family is at peace knowing he is no longer in pain and is reunited with his parents, sister and two nephews.

David made his career as a logging truck driver. When he wasn’t traveling the roads, he would enjoy time fishing or camping on the Tennessee River. On May 3, 1985, he married his soul mate Ms. Dreama Russell and together they raised three wonderful children.

Along with his wife he is survived by his children Jennifer Renee Coker, Jessica N. Pitts, and James D. Pitts Jr.; two siblings Mrs. Brenda Holloway and Mike Pitts; and his pride and joy grandchildren Kaitlyn Haley, Kainen Pitts, Layla Pitts, Brennen Keeton, Logan Keeton, Natalie Pitts, and Tylor Pitts.

A memorial Service will be held Saturday January 8, 2022, at 4:00 pm at General Assembly Church in Hohenwald.
