James "Monk" Gray Obituary

Mr. James "Monk" Dalton Gray 86, of Hohenwald passed away July 22,2020 at AHC Lewis County. He was born in Lewis County at the Boyce Clinic on February 6, 1934 to the late Lester and Idell Gray. In addition to his parents Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his son Mr. James Michael Gray; a sister Marylene Gray; and a brother Guyton Gray.

Mr. Gray leaves behind his daughter Connie Carneal of Columbia; brother Talmas Gray of Columbia; sister Winnie Lawson of Hohenwald; grandchildren April and Dalton Gray of Hohenwald and Tracy King of Huntsville, AL; four great-grandchildren; a special cousin Ronnie Garrison; as well as several other cousins and family members.

A private graveside burial will take place later.
