Obituary
In the afternoon hours of January 10, 2023, Mrs. Johnnie M. Carroll Brown peacefully passed from the earthly world at the age of 77. She was born in Lewis County on July 10, 1945, to the late John and Virginia Hinson Carroll. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Cagney Brown and her sisters Judy Worrell, Sue Whitehead, and Norma Mercer.
Mrs. Johnnie is survived by her loving husband Mr. Larry Ricky “Monk” Brown; her son Ricky (Tammy) Brown; granddaughters Candance (Cainon) Workman and Crystal (Wally) Thomas; great grandchildren Braxtin and Lucky Thomas; Caimora, Caimyaa, and Caimoni Workman, and Ryker Jones. She also leaves behind her sister Carolyn Hargraves and sister-in-laws Connie Williams, Diann Wagner, and Mary Hickerson, and brother-in-law Bob and Betty Brown.
Graveside services will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday January 12, 2023, at Memorial Gardens in Hohenwald. Brother Bobby Carroll will be officiating.
