Julia (Johnson) Horn

Ms. Julia J. Horn passed from this earthly world on February 3, 2023, at the age of 81.  She was born on June 22, 1941, in Jackson, KY to the late Raymond and Alma Turner Johnson.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Riley Horn, children Cheryl Ann Keaton and Teresa Lynn Hamm, and her siblings Newton Johnson, Jean Jarvis, and Mary Coleman.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons James Ray Horn and Richard Lee Horn, her daughter Rhonda Jo Barajas; a sister Ramona Coleman, 16 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Her lifelong career was not only caring for her family but also the community in which she lived. She spent her days caring for those in need as a nurse. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed getting drawn in by the chapters of a good book or sewing while catching up on her favorite T.V. shows. Julia enjoyed taking time to just sit and relax with her favorite K-9 companion Ms. Mary.

In honoring Ms. Julia’s wishes no services are to be held. Adair Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
