Kenny Brian Graves

Kenny Brian Graves passed from his earthly life on February 7, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. Brian was born on February 24, 1961, in Centerville, to Cynthia Ann (Cindy) Graves and the late Kenny Paul Graves. He was married to Suzanne Overby, and they had one son together, Kenny Landon Graves.

Before he became ill, Brian was the owner of Old School Painting and Design including a crew of five. They gained recognition in and around a multitude of towns throughout Tennessee for their superior work.

Brian had a big heart and never met a stranger.  He was always there when a friend was in need. His favorite thing to do was ride his motorcycle, which he named Ole Red.  He often said there was nothing like taking off and feeling the wind against his face. Unfortunately, he had to sell Ole Red when he became too weak to ride. 

Brian was often referred to as Music Man, because his vocals could take the roof off!  He performed at different places in Hohenwald and surrounding counties and was asked many times to come back.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Cindy Graves; his son, Kenny Landon; and a grandson, Kenny Ross Graves.

Brian will be buried in the Graves Family Cemetery on Sinking Creek in Perry County. Graveside services will be held at Graves Cemetery on Wednesday February 21,2024 at 2:00 pm. Adair Funeral and Cremation Services is taking care of funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family is encouraging donations to the Lewis County Cancer Fund.
