L.B. Brumley

Mr. L.B. Brumley 86 of Columbia peacefully passed through the gates of Heaven on June 4,2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Visitation with family and friends will be held Wednesday June 9,2021 at Full Gospel Church at 1214 Linden Hwy from 5:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm on Thursday June 10,2021 also at the Full Gospel Church with Brother Bill Webb officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Deavers Cemetery beside the church. Adair Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Mr. Brumley was born in Hohenwald, TN on March 14,1935 to the late Leonard and Sadie (Warren) Brumley. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Iva DeVault, Imogene Brown, and Doris Gwaltney; and two brothers Thomas and James Brumley.

L.B. is survived by his wife of 53 years Mrs. Beverly Kaisi Brumley; his children Patty Brumley, Jerry Brumley, Joey Ramirez, Larry Ramirez, and Keith Brumley; grandchildren Corey Redden, Brittney Redden, Forest Holladay, Brooke Allen, Mandy Brumley, Jerry Brumley, and Aquilla Ramirez; five great-grandchildren; and his two sisters Leda Moore and Ruby Jones.

Mr. Brumley was employed with TVA before leaving and beginning his own business Brumley’s Electric.  L.B. enjoyed piddling around his yard and riding the tractor or jumping in the car and start driving with no destination in mind. He and Beverly enjoyed taking long rides taking in all of Gods beautiful scenery. His family and the time spent with his grandbabies were the best memories in the making. He was an amazing provider, husband, father, and grandfather. His family and friends knew him as one of the Godliest men you would have the pleasure of meeting. His legacy will carry on for many generations to come with the foundation he had built for his family.
