Linda Diane Green, a spirited and loving woman known for her creativity and zest for life, passed away on September 30, 2023. Born on August 30, 1947, in Nashville, TN, Linda lived a fulfilling and vibrant life in her 76 years.
Linda was the cherished daughter of the late Carlos and Dorothy Green. She was a loving sister to Retha Harrison and James Green.
She was the devoted mother of Kelly Mooneyhan (Helen) and Robert Mooneyhan, who were always at the center of her world. Linda was a loving and dedicated mother, always prioritizing her children's needs and well-being above all else. Her role as a mother extended beyond her children, as she was a beloved grandmother to Logan, Jackson, and Gabriel Owen, Alexis Mooneyhan, and Zoey Pearce. Her grandchildren will remember their grandmother's warmth, her infectious laughter, and the countless life lessons she taught them.
Linda was preceded by William Duke Roberts, a significant person in her life. Their memories together were filled with love, laughter, and shared experiences that were an integral part of Linda's life.
After completing high school, Linda worked most of her life in the food service industry until she found her true calling as a caregiver. She was a compassionate and selfless individual, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her work was not just a job, but a way of life. She lived her life with a sense of purpose, always striving to make a difference in the lives of those she cared for.
Linda was a woman of many talents and interests. She was a "jack of all trades," skilled in baking, knitting, crochet, gardening, and furniture restoration. Her love for these hobbies was evident in the joy and dedication she put into each project. Whether it was a freshly baked pie, a beautifully knitted scarf, a vibrant garden, or a restored piece of furniture, Linda poured her heart and soul into everything she did.
Linda was not one to shy away from expressing her thoughts. She was outspoken, yet full of heart, and always stood up for what she believed in. She lived her life to the fullest, embracing every moment with enthusiasm and joy. Her love for life was infectious, inspiring those around her to live their lives with the same passion and zest.
