Mary Louise (Whitten) Wallace

At the age of 102, Ms. Mary Louise Whitten Massey Wallace peacefully passed away on October 10, 2021. She was born in Lawrenceburg, TN. on September 7, 1919, to the late Timothy and Cora Daniels Whitten. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Mr.  Horace Neal Massey; her second husband Doyle Wallace; children Lawrence Butch Massey and Vernon Neal Massey; siblings Edith Thompson and Gladys Hurt; and grandson Kerry Massey.

Mary spent her working years as a homemaker tending to the needs of her husband and two children. She was a faithful member of Park Grove Baptist in Lawrenceburg. She enjoyed a quiet life of gardening, farming, and cooking big family meals.

Ms. Wallace leaves behind to cherish her memory her grandchildren Daryl Keith Massey (Donna), Bert (Lori) Massey, Christopher Massey, Kyle Massey, and Daniel Gray; two nieces, three nephews, nine great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; and her very special friend Delana Staggs.

A graveside service will be held Sunday October 24, 2021, at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens beginning at 2:00 pm.
