Michael Greenlee Obituary

Mr. Michael Joseph Greenlee 81 of Linden passed away Tuesday June 1,2021 at the Perry County Nursing Home. He was born on October 20,1939 in Herculaneum, MO to the late John Joseph and Evelyn A (York) Greenlee. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Terry Greenlee, Patricia Braddy, and Dennis Greenlee.

After leaving the military Mr. Greenlee began his lifelong career in the trucking industry. There was no downtime for the hard-working driver. His career totaled 39 years and 29 days of hauling steel products with Tennessee Steel Haulers.

Mr. Greenlee leaves behind his wife of 44 years Mrs. Bettye Ashley Greenlee; children Jonathan D. (J.D.) Greenlee, Sandra Kay Greenlee, Michael Joseph Greenlee Jr., Matthew J. Greenlee, James Robert "Bobby" Greenlee, Donald R. "Donnie" Greenlee, and Michael Joseph "Mikey" Greenlee III; 22 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren; and a brother Charles Greenlee.

There are currently no services planned for his wishes were to be cremated.
