Michelle (Moore) Lomax

In the early evening hours of June 18, 2023, Mrs. Michelle Lomax peacefully passed from her earthly home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Etheridge, TN on July 6, 1970, to the late Mack Moore and Delvene Moore. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother James Moore.

Mrs. Lomax had a truly giving heart for not only her family and friends but also in her career working for home health. She was a great wife, mother, and friend that was loved by all that knew her. In her husband Claude’s eyes, she was “The light and heart of his life”.

She enjoyed many things when she wasn’t working from crafting and making signs, to fishing, and driving the back roads with her husband.

A graveside burial will take place on Tuesday June 20, 2023, at Whitehead Cemetery at Topsy at 2:00 pm.

Michelle leaves behind her loving husband Claude Lomax; her children Codie Lomax, Mandy Heathery, Alexa Staggs, and Alie Russell; siblings Doug (Vicki) Moore, and Kim (Ronnie) Hughes; grandchildren Emma Heatherly, Peyton Chilton, and Zion Russell; as well as several nieces and nephews.
