On June 6, 2024, Pamela Joan Meek made her journey home at the age of 64. Her life on this side of heaven was simple and quiet. She was a devoted pastor’s wife. They continue their love story as Miss Daisey and Billy are finally reunited in their heavenly home.
She was a mother of four and had spent the last decade grieving the loss of her eldest daughter, but now she walks the streets of gold with her Sunny Girl. She was proud to be “Nana Pam” to all her grandbabies.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Van Gorp Sr. and Betty Newman, her husband Billy Meek Jr., and her daughter Heather Gibson. She is survived by her siblings Kathy Moore, Vicky Anderson, and Robert Van Gorp Jr., her children Rhonda Bray, Melissa Meek, and Billy Meek III, her 8 grandchildren Gabriel, Kaden, Jacob, Cody, Alexander, Billy IV, Layla, and Titus; and her two great-granddaughters, Koralynn, and Heather Mae. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and loved ones. Pammie will be greatly missed.
A service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Assembly at Hohenwald located at 1776 Summertown Highway, Hohenwald, TN 38462.
