Randall Kilpatrick Obituary

Randall Doyle Kilpatrick, a cherished brother, uncle, and friend, passed away in Nashville, TN, on March 20, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on October 16, 1965, to the late Billy John Kilpatrick and Neva Marie Adkins Kilpatrick, Randall spent his entire life in the city that he loved, surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Randall graduated at the top of his class from ITT Tech Nashville, where he demonstrated a passion for learning and a dedication to excellence. His academic achievements led him to a rewarding career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), a role in which he provided compassionate care and support to those in need.

In his personal life, Randall was known for his love of historical reenactment, often traveling to various locations to participate in events that brought history to life. His enthusiasm for reenactment was infectious, and he made many friends who shared his interest. A devoted fan of baseball, Randall never missed an opportunity to watch his nephews play, cheering them on from the stands with pride and encouragement.

Having a love for fishing, Randall found peace and joy in the tranquility of nature. His fishing trips were a time for reflection and relaxation. Additionally, he was well-known for attending poker nights on Monday at Kilpatrick’s Tavern, where laughter and camaraderie were always in abundance. These evenings will be fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to be dealt in.

Randall's love for his family was profound. He is survived by his siblings Jerry Wayne Kilpatrick, Bobby Lee Kilpatrick (Karan), Kenneth Kilpatrick, and Jennifer McDonald (Terry), as well as his nieces Donna Kaye Lance (Scottie), Angela Duncan, Kenda Carter (Josh), Tiffany Duncan, Julie Kephart, Jonnie Duncan, and nephews Randall Dawson, Dakota Dawson, Kaleb Kilpatrick, and Evan Kilpatrick (Morgan). His life was further enriched by the presence of a host of great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Peggy Duncan and niece Brianna Kilpatrick.

Randall's favorite dog companion, Ziggy, was his constant and loyal friend. Their bond was a testament to Randall's loving and friendly nature, which was evident to all who knew him. His absence will leave a void in many lives, but his memory will continue to inspire laughter and love.
