Raymond Joseph Ducharme, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, departed this life on February 11, 2026, in Columbia, Tennessee, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith. Born on August 18, 1960, in Flint, Michigan, Raymond's journey of 65 years was marked by an unwavering commitment to his family, his work, and his passions.
Raymond's early years in Flint laid the foundation for a life characterized by kindness and a joyful spirit. Though he was preceded in death by his beloved parents and two sisters, Raymond's light continued to shine brightly, touching all who knew him. He leaves behind his loving wife of many years, Brenda Whitney Ducharme. Together, they raised a family that included their children Gerald (Teresa) Ducharme, Darrell (Lauren) Ducharme, and Jennifer (Michael) Ducharme. His role as a grandfather to Kaylee, Haylee, Zoey, Jayden, Gianna, Leanna, Vrabel, and Audrey was one he embraced with the greatest joy and enthusiasm.
Raymond's professional life was as a dedicated counselor for Youth Villages, where he made a significant impact on the lives of countless young people. His guidance and wisdom offered a road of hope to those who sought his help.
A man of many interests, Raymond had a passion for CB radios and classic cars. His love for music, especially rock and oldies, was evident in his vast collection of records and the joyous sounds that often filled his home.
Above all, Raymond was a devoted Christian who found great fulfillment in teaching others about God's word. His faith was a cornerstone of his existence, and he lived his beliefs through his everyday actions, always ready to lend a hand or offer a prayer.
Raymond's sense of humor was legendary; he loved to joke around, bringing smiles and laughter to any gathering. His ability to find humor in life's challenges was a gift that he generously shared, lifting spirits and spreading happiness wherever he went.
