Retha Louise (Dabbs) Nelson

On Friday September 16, 2022, Ms. Retha Louise Dabbs Nelson passed away at Countryside Rehabilitation Center in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was born in Lewis County to the late Eurmon and Rozena Mathis Dabbs on October 9, 1935. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Nelson; her son Terry Hinson; Daughters Elizabeth Sanders and Cynthia Pope.

Ms. Retha is survived by her son Gary Hinson; siblings Joy Reeves and Jackie Dabbs, nine grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Monday September 19, 2022, at Plunkett Cemetery in Centerville, TN beginning at 1:00 pm. Brother Coy Reeves will be officiating.
