On February 11,2021 Mr. Rodney Keith Lomax unexpectedly left this earthly world at the age of 42. He was born in Columbia, TN on December 5,1978 to the late Raymond Earl and Wanda (Luna) Lomax. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents Odell and Rod Luna and Fannie and Neeley Lomax. Mr. Lomax enlisted in the United States Army National guard and served ten years. During his ten-year military career, Rodney was deployed three times and spent almost 3 years overseas fighting for our country.
To know Rodney was to love him. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends listening to music and watching movies. Since he was very technologically savvy, Rodney made a career out of his love for computers as an IT specialist. He was very proud of his son, Dylan who attended college in Knoxville, TN.
Mr. Lomax is survived by his son Dylan Lomax of Knoxville; a sister Dacia Lomax McEvers of Columbia; nieces Kassi Holloway and Khrysten Fielder; great niece Kinsley Holloway; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held Saturday February 27,2021 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until time of service. A private family burial will take place later in the spring.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project in Honor of Rodney.
