Stuart Arthur Keating Jr.

Mr. Stuart Keating was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 11, 1941, to the late Stuart Arthur and Adaline Grace Donovan Keating Sr. Mr. Keating peacefully passed away on September 1, 2021, at Maury Regional, surrounded by his children. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his stepmother, Marion Keating, and stepfather, Harry Donovan.

Mr. Stuart could be considered a jack of all trades. His career of a patter maker turned into a true passion that carried over into his home life. He enjoyed the aspects of woodworking, painting, and construction, especially when joined by his son, Jarrod. Mr. Keating enjoyed expanding his knowledge of the world through researching topics of interest. In his downtime, he enjoyed playing the piano, reading, and spending quality time with his loved ones.

Mr. Keating is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Mrs. Susan Shannon Keating; Children, Audra Shannon Conway, Jarrod Samuel Keating, Heather Cheryl Lynn and Jody Ventimiglia; grandchildren Kassidy (Adam) Green, Lance Keating, Skyler DeCourval (Kayla Bays), Alexsandr DeCourval, Tory DeCourval, Sean Williams (Micah Wilson), Taylon Williams, Antoni Williams, and Anthony Lange. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Addison, Paisley, Weston, Everleigh, Akira, and Lillianna, and his siblings Robert Allen Keating, Nancy Grace Black, and Paul Hayden.

Visitation will be held at Adair Funeral & Cremation Services chapel on Friday, September 3, 2021, beginning at 3 p.m.
