Ms. Tamara Ann Furlough Swaw peacefully passed from this earthly world on February 25, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. Tamara was born in Williamson County to Ms. Barbara Terrell Furlough and the late Delmore Furlough on March 1, 1968. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Mr. Kenneth Ray Swaw.
Along with her mother she is survived by her children Rachel (Josh) Burgett, Robyn (Terry) Jackson, Richard “Bubba” (Heather) Swaw, and Alicia Swaw; a sister Heather Furlough and half-brother Ronald (Sherry) Spears. In addition, she also leaves behind her grandchildren Madison, Taylor, Hunter, Candace, Landon, Weston, Levi, and Addyson.
Many know Ms. Swaw from her contagious smile that she always greeted you with at Walmart where she worked as a cashier. She was always there to help anyone at any time. The biggest love of her life was her grandbabies. Every memory made from the moments spent with them was her most treasured times. In her earlier years she enjoyed camping and just being on the water.
Visitation with family and friends will begin at 10:00 am until time of service at 2:00 pm on Thursday March 2, 2023, in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery in Hickman County.
