Ms. Teresa Diane Hinson was born in Lewis County on November 13, 1958, to the late Hurston and Clara Adkins Burlison, and passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2023, in her Hohenwald home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her son Richard DeKnoblough.
In her spare time, Teresa enjoyed collecting little knickknacks and candles and proudly had them displayed for all to see. She was a loving and giving soul that never met a stranger. Teresa was very close to her brothers-in-law Dwayne Strohman and Paul Miller and cared for them both very much. She had a close bond with her nephew Jared Beggs and niece Savannah Frazier whom she called “Doodlebug”. Teresa could hardly contain her excitement when she found out her Doodlebug was expecting. She was a dear friend, sister and little lady that will be missed by all that knew her.
Ms. Teresa leaves behind to carry on her precious memory her son Corey Ray Hinson; sisters Cheryl (Paul) Miller, Belinda (Nelson) Whitehead, Betty (Dwayne) Strohman, Kim (Dwayne) Newton, Amy (Tommy) Hodges, Crystal Seiber, Laretta (Jamie) Wynn, Patty Quillen, and Beverly (William) Anthony. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, her stepmother Linda Burlison, and a very close friend Betty Tatum. Ms. Betty was more like family than a friend and was always there to help take care of Ms. Teresa. The family greatly appreciates everything she has done for them throughout the years.
There will be a private family visitation at a later date.
Adair Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
