Tina Michelle Sharp, a woman after God’s own heart, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2024, in Hohenwald at the age of 51. Tina was born on March 29, 1972, in Columbia to the late Ronald Gene Sharp and Alicia Margo Smith.
Ms. Sharp was a woman of remarkable kindness and an unshakeable spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her warmth, her unwavering support, and her infectious laughter will be dearly missed by her family and friends. For many years, Tina dedicated herself to the well-being of others through her work in recovery. In recent years, she shared her love and inspiration to men and women at The Ranch Recovery Center. Her compassionate nature and her ability to inspire hope in the darkest of times were a source of comfort to many. She was not only a colleague but a friend and mentor to those she worked alongside, leaving a lasting mark on the community and the lives she touched.
Tina found solace in worship music and spending time with Jesus. She had a close relationship with her Father, often journaling her conversations with Him and experiencing visions He would show her. Most people who were around her would say their faith was set on fire just being in her presence.
Family gatherings were a source of joy for Tina. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, especially her sons and grandchildren. It included lively conversations and sharing love and advice that bonded them tightly together. Tina’s presence was a gift to the world. Her loving nature never failed to comfort, and her kindness left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her memory will be treasured as a reminder of the love and compassion that one person can bring into the lives of many with the love of Jesus in their heart.
Tina is survived by her sons, Zachary Dillon Sharp and Jose Carmen (Callie) Sharp; three grandchildren, Zoey, Seth & Eli Sharp; siblings, Ronnie “Punkin” (Alicia) Sharp, Jill Sharp, Staci (Travis) King, and Mason (Kala) Sharp; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
