Tobi (Hobgood) Williams

Tobi (Hobgood) Hancock Williams was born on November 19, 1958, in Los Angeles, California, and passed away on June 5, 2026, in Hohenwald, Tennessee.

Tobi lived a life marked by imagination and creativity and she found joy in many creative pursuits, including gourmet cooking and baking. She delighted in preparing food that brought people together and made special occasions even more memorable. She had a deep and enduring love for the outdoors and found great joy and comfort in gardening. She was also a talented artisan, especially in crafting and jewelry making, where her artistic eye and careful hands transformed simple materials into meaningful creations. Her love of poetry writing and art revealed her reflective spirit and her appreciation for beauty in all its forms. She also had a deep love for horses and animals: she found comfort, companionship, and happiness in their presence throughout her life.

Tobi was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Helen (Van Vactor) Hobgood, and by her brothers Clay and Sonny Hobgood. She is survived by her daughters, Chloe( Hancock) Sickel and her husband Adam, Hillary (Robson) Cummings and her husband Corey, and her granddaughter, Emmaline Yeager. Tobi is further survived by her siblings, Robert Hobgood and his wife Kay, Sean Govinda Swami Hobgood, Anthony “Tony” Hobgood, and Kevin Hobgood and his wife, Suzan. She also leaves behind her best friend, Stefani Apa Webb.

The family will hold a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to High Forest Humane Society in Hohenwald TN.  Adair Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
