Wilma Darlene Hensley Hall, a woman of love and creativity, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, in Florence, Alabama. Born on October 27, 1943, in Hohenwald, Tennessee, Wilma's journey through life was marked by her devotion to family, her passion for crafting, and her unwavering kindness.
Wilma was the cherished daughter of the late Ross and Wilma Pollock Hensley. Her life was further blessed by her marriage to Freddie Lee Hall, who preceded her in death on September 25, 2025. Together, they built a family that included their beloved children, the late James Hall and Deborah Hall, and their devoted son, John Mitchell Hall, who is married to Gwen. Wilma's legacy extends through her sister, Sandy Lestina and brothers Terry and Alvin, and her adored grandchildren Jennifer Schroader, Clayton Rodgers, Darlin Dudley, Dee Rice, and Scott Hall.
The joy of Wilma's life multiplied with the arrival of her great-grandchildren: Makia, Cameron, Darrell, Austin, Joseph, Jordan, Jade, Danika, Hayvri, Hayden, Karissa, Sid, Kelton, and Caden. She was also blessed with the arrival of great-great-grandchildren Scarlett, Annabelle, Swayzie, and a set of twins on the way.
Wilma's professional life as a chiropractic assistant was marked by her caring nature and her ability to make each patient feel heard and comforted.
A woman of many talents, Wilma found joy in crafting, sewing, and ceramics. Her hands were rarely still, as she poured her creativity into beautiful works that became treasured keepsakes for her family and friends. Fishing trips with Freddie and excursions to Tunica were among her favorite pastimes, where she reveled in the beauty of nature and the thrill of a new adventure. Above all, Wilma cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandbabies, whose laughter and smiles were the light of her life.
Those who knew Wilma will recall her loving nature, her kind heart, and her creative spirit. She had an extraordinary ability to see beauty in the world and to share that vision with others. Her warmth and generosity touched all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will be held close in the hearts of many.
Visitation with family and friends will be held from 3:00 pm until time of service of 5:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services.
